Thank you for your interest in the International Parrotlet Society. IPS continues to offer organizations non-show affiliations for the same price as always.  However, this year, we are pleased to announce that we will be offering a number of different levels of affiliations for clubs that hold bird shows. (In order to have a IPS show, you must also be an IPS Affiliated Show Club).  

IPS has now made available Parrotlet Specialty and Regional Show affiliations for clubs in conjunction with the Society of Parrot Breeders and Exhibitors (SPBE) and the North American Parrot Society (NAPS).  Parrotlets often make up the a large part of the Parrot Division at these shows.  We have changed all affiliation levels except the normal club (non-show)  affiliation to help present a better mix and choices for your organization's specific needs.

Judges will judge both parrotlets and other parrots in their show and then the parrotlets will be separated into a separate Parrotlet Division. The general Parrot Division will be eligible for SPBE and NAPS points and the IPS Division will be eligible for IPS Points that go towards IPS Exhibitor of the Year and other special yearly awards.  IPS Points will also go towards making your parrotlet an IPS Champion and Grand Champion.  

As parrotlets gain in popularity, the IPS is looking towards showcasing them separately and congratulating members who are working towards the International Parrotlet Society Standard.  Both SPBE and NAPS are using this standard.
